With the impending shift of venues from the peaceful and tranquil slow paced life on the rock to the hustle and bustle of big city life and a visit from the FIL these past few days have been hectic to say the least. We have managed to get out a bit and enjoy some of the Kodiak Wildlife...
Here is an example of some of the wildlife, the elusive Kodiak Wildebeest... okay so its really just Jason. He came back into town from Fish camp and is on his way down to America so we went out for cocktails on Saturday night.

We also did do some productive things this weekend besides getting hung over. The Mrs. wanted to get some more shrooms so off we went hiking and scored another big stash.
We had some stiff competition with gathering mushrooms with this guy (click on the picture...he does not need any more food)
