We discovered this park down at the end of our street while out for our 3 hour urban hike on Saturday. That's the Potomac River.
Another shot of the same park. It was 75 degrees and sunny walking around (that was a dig for the Kodiak peeps)
The outside of the new abode. A nice little row house, and while it looks narrow it is long so we have a living room, dining room and kitchen on the first floor, two bedrooms on the second and the third floor is another bedroom and a roof top deck. It also has a nice yard that the Mrs. has sorely missed and she is already working the flower beds.
The empty living room, at least the Internet was hooked up today so I'm back tuned in to the pulse of the world. (side note: uploading these 1.3 meg photos is taking 8 seconds compared to 2 minutes in Kodiak)
The Mrs. wanted me to include this for the MIL in Portland, the backing in the kitchen is a cool pressed tin backsplash.
And if you curious about where my new FAVORITE place in the world is, be curious no more

Who knew the cesspool of the western world was such a paradise? No wonder Uncle Ted and his ilk have no intention of ever leaving. I want you to know that I will despise... er, envy you until I come to visit and get my own bucket of beer for $7.
buckets of beer for $7. and two large pizzas from Pizza Hut for $16 unlike the Kodiak PH 1 large for $35
