Squirreling it away...

Our backyard squirrels have been doing quite a bit a pilfering as of late, preparing their sweet treetop penthouse for winter. Being the fiber artist that I am, I took advantage of the opportunity to make their world and ours more colorful this winter, and placed some pretty tufts of wool out back for them to use. I am happy to say that they took advantage, and here is how their nest looks as of this morning:

Sweet! I'm so gonna put out more fluff... who knows? Maybe we will end up with an Amazing Techinicolor Dream Nest!
