Art on the Avenue

Today we ventured to the little village next to ours (Del Ray) for their annual "Art on the Avenue" its a cool event that spans about 3/4 of a mile along main street and includes music, food and art.

We went with our neighbors and good friends Chad and Carolyn. Chad is well known in Del Ray as he paints murals that are found in and on a lot of the local businesses. Here is some of his work in St. Elmo's Coffee Pub.











This food vendor had a good idea how to cook his food on the street. Just throw a 55 gallon drum into a shopping cart and poof you have a mobile grill.









There were several great local acts including this South American group. I don't know the instrument but it was cool.
