No not Australia but underground. We visited the
Skyline Caverns located at the Shenandoah National Park. We ended up about 200' below ground in some caves with some of the most fantastic geological sites including rare
Anthodites (more from the Mrs. on those later)

The Mrs. at the start of the 1 mile walk down and back tour.
A 9 ton stalagmite near the entrance of the cavern.
The lighting is cool and the different colors add to showing off the different minerals.
Just a cool photo.
A formation that looks like an eagle with its wings spread (kind of had to be there). More to follow.

That's okay because living on the East Coast we can now see England from our house
