A little walk... and a little Sox

We had grand plans of driving to Maryland's Eastern Shore today to do some hiking... until we realized that everyone else in the DC Metro Area would be heading out there during this unseasonable warm weekend (92 degrees F as I write this- yikes!). So, we headed down to Prince William Forest Park, since the dogwoods are blooming:



And some Forget-Me-Nots...

Upon getting home, we (I mean, I) did some work in the yard (planted Coleus and Scarlet Begonias & laid some more gravel on the path) and we are currently kicking back watching the Red Sox game. They were down to the Spankees 6-0, but they are fast recovering and the game is tied. All in all, a nice mellow day. Save for The Man yelling profanities at the television.
