Walkathon Update

The official numbers are in and the event raised 8 million dollars to help the homeless. While there are a lot of them out there, we have a soft spot for the veterans so hopefully this event helps. A surprising and sad statistic we learned on Saturday is that while 9% of the US population are in the military, 26% of the homeless on the streets are veterans. That number is growing more and more each day with a new wave of veterans.
