While the kiddlings were here we headed for a little Caribbean fare.....
Off to the sandy beach with sand and tiki torches
Nothing like a day at the beach...... okay so this is Mango Mike's located here in Alexandria. They have a great fun menu so we had fun and a great meal.
The boy ate most of the Havana Nachos himself although the girl helped and they were good.
We started off with the Conch fritters. This was the first time the Mrs. has had Conch.
The boy was not messing around when he ordered (and finished) this full rack of "Cuban Ricky Ricardo" BBQ ribs
This is one of the only places north of Bermuda where it is okay (and I did) for a man to order a drink in a parrot glass that has banana liqueur, and you get to keep the glass.
Another fun night and a good meal, although we went home to a lot of belly rubbing and laying on the couch
