More Old Town Scenery

A few blocks from the casa is what was the start of the Alexandria Canal. It has long since been filled in and turned into a business center, but remnants still remain along with an interesting "deconstruction of what looks like George Washington's head (after all EVERYTHING here has something to do with him). I'm tired and lazy tonight so not much commentary to go along with the pictures of the area.

The entrance and locks to the canal from the Potomac River.

A view from the business center, that's about all of the canal that's left.

The rest is an un-narrated pictorial of the area.
