How Sweep it is

And the Headline read.....

Boston's five homers sink Yankees
Record four straight help Red Sox complete three-game sweep

The caption for this picture as Jason Veritek rounds third passing Alex Rodriguez after hitting Boston's 4th homer in a row should be "in your face beotch"

Tonight's game was a great way to round out the weekend. A Lawyer friend (I know that sounds wrong) came over for dinner and to watch the game and we weren't disappointed with either. The Mrs. and I argued all week about what to have for our guest, my suggestion was hot dogs, popcorn and peanuts a traditional baseball game meal. Of course the Mrs. stated in no uncertain terms that a guest in her house would NOT have hot dogs so instead we had the following...

Seared paprika-crusted Coho salmon with lemon-dill aioli served on a bed of spring greens, some mixed veggies with garlic butter, and wild mushroom pilaf made with a blend of cauliflower, porcini, and oyster mushrooms (the latter were harvested in Kodiak and dried by the Mrs. last fall). YUM!

Here are the two founding members of the northwestern most chapter of Red Sox Nation of which there are about 20 or 30 members here, believe it or not. We celebrated the win after dinner with a what else but a Boston Cream cake.
