Surprisingly enough I woke up this morning feeling good, unfortunately a 14 hour work day and el-crapo weather prevented us from doing much this evening. Ok part 2
We saw our first bear poop of the season and it was a good reminder that we need to make plenty of noise as to not surprise these guys as they are sleeping
This was one of the coolest things we saw on the hike. There is a small piece of ground that sticks out from the cliff, as you can see there is nothing under it and this tree is a living tree that grew at a 45 degree angle. At first I thought it was just a dead half knocked over tree. Sitka spruces are pretty burly considering this thing takes as much as 90 MPH winds coming in off the Gulf. This and the next are some random cliff photos, kind of gives you an idea of how up and down we went, one minute on the top of the cliff and then down to the beach and back up the next cliff, also a good idea of how far you could fall !!
More architectural notes were taken on cabin building. Actually this is an old dilapidated cabin that I have no idea what the story is on it
The sign on the door says Termination Point Inn
